Dear Swamiji,
1. Could you please enlighten me on reincarnation? Is it true or just our belief.If it is true then, why is it that as much as we try, we are not able to recall anything at all- not even in dreams? I have wondered about this from a very young age, still not knowing how?Thank you.
2. thank you so much for replying. i read your article on God and somewhat got my answer to a nagging question in my mind all this while. i do also wonder, even now, (1) Does God comes as a Guru for one who is seeking...(2) if so will He be doing 'business' transactions?...there are so many 'Enlightened Masters' who simply seem to be merely doing business transactions.. will God do this ? Here are the replies to your questiions :
1. There is no diffrence in God and Guru as far as devotion is
concerned. Our shastra says, "Yatha Deve Tatha Guru" (guru and God are not different) Please read the article Jeevan Muktha in the website.
2. Guru can't do any transaction though apparaently he looks like
doing some business. For example Saint Kabir was selling cotton
towels,Saint Sawata Mali was selling vegetables or Saint Gora
Kumbhar was selling earthen pots. But all of these people were
self realized and enlightened Gurus.
Like a drop of water does not stick to lotus leave, in the same way
any good or bad deed of true saint does not create Karma.
However, you are correct in describing the modern saffron wearing saints
who can't be said to be knowledgeable saints, and whose only business
is to collect money.
Mother Parvathy, God does every thing. He looks through innumerable eyes, hears through innumerable ears, speaks through innumerable mouths and so on. Every thing is done by God only, whether bad or good. Living being can't do anything. His body is alive till God in Chetan (active) form lies inside, and after that the body becomes waste or food for the insects.
