My friend says Advaita Vedanta is the only remedy to get rid of all sufferings of the mankind.Why and how it is possible.Please enlighten me.

Dear Raghunathan,
Your friend is right. But only literal knowledge of Advaita Vedanta
can't make you free from worries.
"Tarati Shok Atmavit" say the Vedas, "The people who experience
self get rid of worries"
This is the knowledge which is to be taken from Atmavit Guru. Mere
reading does not help

In my belief bonafide teachers don't ask for donations and only accept offerings according to their requirement and no more. Also if you don't believe in a personal separate entity of God then how can you explain material life's starting point and the wondrous designs around us? If you say big bangs happen then explain what existed before that to cause it. And please don't tell me it's an impersonal light.

People always misunderstand as to why Guru ask for donations after
renunciation. Why a person need money after he leaves the worldly life ?
This is most general question that strikes everybody's mind, whether
theist or atheist. So thank you for asking such a question that an answer of
which shall benefit all readers of onlineselfrealization.com.
Self realized Guru is one in million of Gurus. All Gurus ask for money to people for their own expenses or for the expenses of their Ashram, disciples or their own projects. Rare is the exception.
It is very difficult for common man to find out self realized Guru. Self realized Guru too can ask for money to his disciples and people but he does not mind if somebody pays him or not. Many a times the donations paid to self realized Guru create the miraculous healings or benefits to the donors. Many self realized Gurus do not ask money to disciples and people for their own cause. They have in mind that such donations would benefit the donors.
Donations to self realized Guru is one of the way to get the eternal knowledge as per Hindu scriptures and traditions. Yajna, Tapas and Daan (Knowledge, austerity and donations) are the three ways of salvations according to Hindu religion.
Paying donation to knowledgeable Guru brings the properity, knowledge and peace.
Donation to other Gurus is only a mental satisfaction.

This half knowledge is not accepted by Hinduism. Please read creator and creation.

I am aged 60Yrs. and have great faith in GOD, espicially the "PARASHAKTHI".
If one has to necessarily undergo the "karmapalan" of the purva janma, then why to pray for a happy & trouble-free life, in this janma?
If the ALMIGHTY can give consolation through prayers, why not the ALMIGHTY give complete relief from the "karmapalan"?

No Karma exist. Hence, there is no karmapalan
