In the same way our original form is God. We are all begotten of God, like the drops begotten from ocean. Infinite numbers of living beings are created out of God. All of them have only one earnest desire that is to reach to the God as early as possible and again beget the original form as a part of God. God as we seen earlier is the another name of happiness. So, all of us are mad for happiness. We need peace of mind. We need bliss. Continuous, non-interrupted happiness. We, in fact need nothing in this world; we only need continuous bliss throughout our life; the bliss of the same quality and quantity throughout. We really, do not need money, we do not need sex partner, we do not need big estates and we do not need anything from this illusory world. We only need happiness. That is we only need God. We intrinsically love God only and none else. We love our happiness only and nothing else. Wives want husbands for their happiness, not for the happiness of the husbands, mother wants children for her own happiness, not for the happiness of children, we want friends for our happiness, not for the happiness of the friends, whatever we want from this world, we want it for our happiness, not for the happiness of others. We love ourselves only. We love only our souls. We love nothing else in this world. Because our soul is the happiness. We unknowingly spend our entire life to make our soul happy. Because we do not know that our soul is an ocean of happiness. Each and every movement of our organs, each and every thought in our mind, is motivated to make us happy. Make our soul happy. Making our soul happy is the reason why we live in this world. We live in this world for happiness of our soul. We can’t tolerate a minute’s unhappiness. We can’t stay anywhere for even a second, where there is no happiness; we get bored and leave the place as early as possible. We want nonstop happiness for our soul. We do all good things in life and all nonsense, even crime for happiness. We do not know that we have the happiness fully filled in ourselves, because we are children of happiness. We look in the external world for happiness till we become introvert and try to find sour happiness within us. The search in the external world for happiness makes us often unhappy. Every deed of us which we do to become happy makes us unhappy. We meet our sex partner to become happy, but soon we realize that we have lost our inner happiness during the sexual acts. After the search of happiness in sex is over, we once again become unhappy and try to find some other source of happiness. We try to enjoy weekend, but at the end of the weekend we find that weekend had enjoyed us, we did not enjoy the weekend; rather we can say we ended our happiness at the end of the weekend. We madly strive to get money because we know we can purchase happiness by money. We do not think how much happiness we lost in earning money. How much stress we endured, how much labor we had to put in, how much risk we had taken, how many relations we had spoiled, how much time we spent after money etc.; we forget all these things during the pursuit of money. Such expensively earned money we spend to earn happiness. We never come to know that it was a dream only; we could never purchase happiness. The happiness we thought we shall purchase was very momentary. The momentary happiness makes us double unhappy after the moment is over. Since we have no knowledge about our original form i.e. happiness, we blindly search happiness every moment. Each and all of us want only one thing, not the ten things, and that is happiness, or God.
We pray God for our happiness and well being without knowing that we are praying nobody but ourselves. There is nobody to listen to the prayers, not in the sky, not in heaven or not in the temple not in the idols of God. When we make the prayers, we forget for some time our worldly affairs and worldly existence. Even if we come to our original form of God for a fraction of a second, the almighty God listens to our prayers who is within us only and nowhere outside. We really do not know whom are we praying. What is the TRUTH? God has never called anybody to pray Him. God has never come down on this earth and ordered you to pray Him. How weak we have made ourselves that we do not believe in our own experience and we believe in the books which teach us to pray God.
Prayer is a human psychology. Our requests to others for some favors are also the prayers. What else are they? We are in need of money, and we go to bank. We are in fact in extreme tension, but we smile before the Bank Manager or creditor, to show him that our request was casual and not out of any financial pressure. We pretend to be smiling and cool, when there is a fire in our hearts. We make request of loans or overdrafts. What is this? This is also a prayer. Prayer has a base of desire. Prayer in Public or prayer to God has some or the other, selfish or unselfish desires in our mind. Desire makes us to pray. The hidden fear in our mind makes us to pray. We make ourselves weaker and weaker to fulfill our desires. Desire of money, desire of sex, desire of honor, desire of children, whatever it is. We pray God whom we never have truly loved. Let us ask ourselves. Do we love God or we love ourselves? God can’t be befooled. As long as we have any other interests in life, as long as we have anybody in the world respectful other than God, as long as we have any other urgent business other than remembering and praying God, we must understand that we do not love God at all. We love ourselves. We have loved our happiness. But, we do not know that we are not wrong. We love ourselves because we have the treasure of happiness within us only, not with the external imaginary God. God wants that we should love ourselves only, because God is within us.
