of some people and some other people could have the priority for the honorable posts in the society. Some people become mad for sexual pleasures, and some people are found more interested in increasing their assets and business. However, all the human individuals have some desires common. What are those desires which are mostly common in all? Each and everybody wants that,
1.I should be always happy.
2.I should never get sorrows.
3.I should always make progress.
4.Let people hear what I say, and follow me.
5.I should look beautiful and let people be impressed with me.
6.I should be always successful.
7.Let my health be good.
8.Let my family members be flourishing.
9.Let me not have the deficiency of the things I require.
10.Let nobody insult or blame me.
The above are some of the very common desires of each and everybody in the world. Probably, every person reading this will agree that this is what we expect in this life. Though these are common desires of human being, it is found that there is nobody in the world who has all the desires fulfilled. If one thinks deeply he will come to know that all the above ten expectations have never been achieved by any single human being on this earth, at any time.
The question is very much astonishing, “Why I have desires for these things which have never been gifted to any single person? We know that we will never get these, still we desire. Our desires are naturally not fulfilled to our expectations, because those were never fulfilled with anybody. We become nervous and unhappy, even when one of the above is not achieved by us. The truth is that none of the above is gifted to anybody for all his life time. One may experience one or two of the above for some time in his life. It is human nature to run after the desires, and one spends all his life to achieve all of these ten. In fact, the sum total of all of these is that one wants to be happy every minute of his life till he/she breathes last. But this is impossible; we all can very well understand nobody in the world is fully happy and none was in the past.
Could you guess, who has all the above ten desires fulfilled? Yes! Right. Only God can have all these desires fulfilled. This is impossible for even a king on this earth if he conquers the entire world. So, we must understand the hidden truth behind our desires, that knowingly or unknowingly everybody of us wants to become God! Yes. Only God could be 100% content, and none else. We also want to be 100% content. So, what is a real desire in our mind? It is simple. Every single one of us wants to be God.
This seems to be absurd. How is it possible that everybody wants to become God? But our in-depth thinking on this point can convince us about this. A great Christian saint has said, “Everything begotten of God is nothing but God only”. The same thing was told by Vedas before any religion was in existence. “Sarvam Khalu Idam Brahma”, means “this all is God”. Everything in the universe, whole of the universe and anything beyond universe must be begotten of God, because there is nothing bigger than God except universe. We all want to become God, because we are begotten of God. We all want to become 100% happy, because we are begotten of happiness. We came to this earth out of immense desire of our mother and father for happiness. We are children of happiness. God can’t be unhappy. So God is fully i.e. 100% happy. We want God because we want happiness. We want happiness because God is the happiness. The other name of happiness if God, because God only could have all the above ten desires fulfilled. (Aishwarya). Rather, God can’t have desires at all. God is happiness because God has no desires. Naturally, one can definitely think of becoming God that is becoming happy for ever, only by giving up the desires! This does not sound well till we have some different ideas about God in mind. But those ideas have no direct logical evidence. Those are based on the devotional holy books. But the thought that God is happiness is most logical.
Let us take an example and understand this principle well.
When a drop of water gets evaporated from the ocean, it becomes steam or vapor. In fact all these words, like ocean, water, drop, vapor, if we think deeply are the synonyms. It is absolutely only one thing; one matter. The name and form is different, but the thing is one only, and that is ocean. The drop deprived of its name and existence as “ocean” after evaporation, travels in the sky and becomes cloud. Again the name and form is changed. In fact, if anybody calls cloud an ocean it is not wrong, because the ocean itself gets converted to cloud, stage after stage. The cloud again gets converted back to water drops, and ultimately falls down on the earth. All such drops fallen on the earth, have great haste to meet the ocean again, because their own original form is the ocean, not a drop or a cloud. Most of the drops come together and form a flow that meets to river and the name of the drop is changed to river. The lucky drops reach to their own form and become ocean again. The unfortunate drops fall somewhere else and are unable to reach the river. These drops are again evaporated by the heat of the Sun, and they again become clouds. This cycle continues till each and every drop reaches and gets its’ original form called ocean.
