Page 3

There are made believe stories like the human was made of earth and then the God blown the life in them etc. It is therefore the ancient Shastra’s (scriptures) guidance that “Murkhasya Pratima Devah”. Any sign, any image, any place, any thought of God doing or undoing something, is the concept of the big fools. The people who do not want to use their own brains in the matter of God, believe in the holy books describing as to how the human being was manufactured by God. Such people are in majority in the world and that is why there is world.
Lord Rama was Vishnu incarnation, as step by step explained above. Who is not Vishnu incarnation in this world? In fact everything is Vishnu. “Sarva Vishnumaya Jagat”, (Everything in the world and world itself is Vishnu) say the ancient Indian sciences and scriptures.
Now, who could be the dearest devotee of Lord Rama?
The first thing after the desires are converted in to life i.e. Vishnu’s Incarnation, is the need of air for respiration. As long as a creature lives it has to inhale and exhale air for living. Air is called “Maruta”. The air always remains with creature till its death or in other words Maruti (Hanuman or Monkey God) always remains with Lord Rama. This is described in many ways in Hindu Purana or mythology. Like, Hanuman was the dearest friend of Rama, Hanuman was the dearest devotee of Rama, Hanuman used to recite the name of Rama with every breathe etc. The monkey God is therefore, the air that causes the life. (Prana). Prana (oxygen air) keeps the creatures alive. Why this Prana air is animated as Monkey? Because, like monkey jumps from one tree to another and leaves the tree in no time, the life (Prana) also leaves this body creature (tree) in no time (momentarily) and without any notice.
In Indian scriptures, Oxygen air is further divided in to total 10 parts based on its function in the body. The first five are the main parts and the remaining five are the secondary parts. The first and important five parts are :
1.Prana - The main air that causes human living. That is inhaled and exhaled.
2.Apana - The air that is created due to consumption (burning) of the food and passes through the lower parts of the human body.
3.Vyaan - This is the air that occupies the parts like joints of the body and causes the movement of the body.
4. Udaan - This is the air that has the upward movement like hydrogen, and reaches the brain.
5.Samaan- The air that occupies body equally in everywhere and in each body part.
There are lot of images of the Monkey God with five heads. These are the above five main parts of the oxy-air or the air for life called “Prana”. Three, five or ten number of heads is common in Indian mythology. Lord Ganesh is similarly shown in many images with five heads because human has five sensory organs. All the ancient idol/images are symbolic of the things related to human being, the Vishnu incarnation.
Let me tell you a story of an omniscient saint. One rich person (Marwari) was busy welcoming his guests to the marriage of his daughter. It is said by the people of India jokingly and without any malice, that otherwise a miser, Marwari spends money generously for the daughter’s marriage. This rich person had ordered to cook best of the Sweets and Indian food for the invitees. While he was standing on the door of a big shed erected for marriage welcoming the people, he saw a dirty looking mad man without clothes on his body begging for alms on the street. The Marwari being a person who was very religious and had served his Guru, immediately understood in mind that the beggar was not an ordinary person. He thought he must be a great Yogee. He asked the beggar to come inside and take food. Lot of the friends and relatives of the rich man gathered there and looking at the sentiments of the rich man invited the beggar for the meals. Indians enjoy food when they share with others. After lot of requests, that beggar without speaking a word conceded to the requests. He then was served in banana-leave- plate, all the best hot sweets and food with alluring fragrances. Ladies gathered there to decorate his seat with colorful designs of Rangoli. (colored sand). Gents brought the costliest fragrance sticks and lighted there. The beggar was looking at the food plate. Shortly, he stood up to his feet and lifted the banana-leave-plate full of sweets and food. He steadily walked out and all the invitees looked at him astonishingly. The beggar went to a dustbin crossing the road and sat on the dirty wastes spread there. Soon he was surrounded by the stray dogs. Beggar sat on the back of one of the dogs, and started giving all sweets and food to the dogs with own hands. All the dogs were enjoying the feast and moving their tails with a look of love and gratitude for the beggar. In the meantime, the rich man who was looking at the beggar’s movement curiously and many other invitees gathered near the beggar.
