5. It happened due to free will

There was no time when there was no free will. The free will is found not only in human being but also in all the living beings. Each individual creates his world with his free will. Any act or initiation of human is the use or misuse of free will. Free will can't be related or said to be the cause of any tragedies of the world. Where the free will comes in to pictures when millions die in pandemics? The relation of free will with the Holocaust looks like farfetched.

6. It is a revelation from God

In the opinion of the author, the readers especially Indians, do not need to understand the definition of revelation given in Wikipedia. (Unfortunately, Wikipedia has not mentioned the Hindu definition). Every Indian knows it very well.

Revelation is the act of revealing or disclosing (see etymology), or in the theological perception, making something obvious and clearly understood through active or passive communication with the
divine , "which could not be known apart from the unveiling"

This is most common response to any significant good or bad event. In India in every house people call any major event as a revelation from God to understand the things better and to prevent the recurrence in future, if the event was bad. No doubt the Holocaust could be taken as revelation, but such a capital punishment to a selected race could not be compared with any other simple revelation from God.

This is not again the answer to the questions about the Holocaust.

7. It is beyond human comprehension

The comprehension power of the people and that of the theology masters belonging to so called
?monotheistic religions? can't be called as ultimate human comprehension. It will be fair to take in to consideration the knowledge and experience of the Indian saints about the God, before making a end statement that involves human being as whole.

This is not related to the topic of this article; however, the pages in this website would shortly be describing as to how the first and the original monotheism in the world is Hinduism. Probably, nobody dared to write it in Wikipedia.

What we want to say here is that hundreds of great enlightened saints on the land of India since thousands of years in tradition knew and know the secrets of God and the nature. It will be better to take their opinion as regards to the human limits in understanding the events on the earth. We are free to call anything as
?beyond human comprehension? based on our own worldly experience. However, a person of determined mind (Vyavasayatmika Buddhi, as explained in Geeta ), will not leave any problem simply saying it to be beyond human perception. If one is determined to find the relation of God with the Holocaust, he will have to think deeper and deeper for many years under the supervision of any enlightened/self realized spiritual master. This response appears to be out of frustration and hasty.

8. It is a vicarious atonement

Jewish people suffer for the sins of the world, is not the proper way of thinking. Who has decided to give punishment to Jews for the sins of others? This is an imagination and far from the truth. What is the degree of the sins and what is the degree of the punishment? How many people in the world commit sins and of what individual degree or magnitude? How many of the Jews are selected to compensate the sin and what are the criteria for selecting Jews for punishment? The Holocaust does not appear to be the case of vicarious atonement. In most of the cases of atonement it is voluntary.

9 God is not omnipotent

What God has to do whether you call Him omnipotent or call Him a weaker? If God is not omnipotent, who is? God had never stopped any tragedies in the past, why then so called
?monotheist? religious books call Him omnipotent? If the holy books of ?monotheism? are wrong, how many other wrong things are stated in the holy books of monotheist religions?

Let us review statement from Wikipedia

Judaism , Christianity , and Islam traditionally have taught that God is omnipotent (all powerful), omniscient (all knowing) and omnibenevolent (all good). These claims seem to be in jarring contrast with the fact that there is much evil in the world. Perhaps the most difficult question that monotheists have confronted is how can we reconcile the existence of this view of God with the existence of evil? This is the problem of evil .
